E&A are issuing a quick two week brief which can be used by either graphics or textiles designers, depending on what you do with it.
Either,
a) Develop a graphic or pattern using one, or a combination of any of the five tartans detailed below. This can be either be a modernisation of the tartan itself or a graphic used with the tartan as a basis. We’ll leave that up to you…
or,
b) Create a collage or material piece using one, or a combination of any of the five tartans attached. This can also incorporate any other materials or foreign objects such as crystals, buttons etc if you wish. It would probably be best if you could scan these pieces in to send them to us, but good photographs would be ok too.
We’ll keep this one short and sweet, but feel free to contact us with any questions.
Please make sure all designs are with us by midnight of the 8th of October, and let us know of any problems you might have with this.
